The next time I see my spirited six year-old niece, she will have holes in her smile!  She has THREE wiggly teeth, and is preparing  for visits from the tooth fairy.  I took loads of portraits and candids  during her visit to Tulsa last week (before that little girl smile is ancient history).

I absolutely love this age for portraits, when children are not yet self-conscious and feel like movie stars when the flash fires.  Take a look at this super star:

My niece is all grown up, looking happy and sunny in these 12 year old birthday pictures.   She was more than willing to try my hippie chic headband and braids, and I love the results.  Perfect tween look for summer fun!
